CONFERENCE LOCATION
The conference location for ICRA 2026 is the VIECON – Vienna Congress & Convention Center in Vienna. Austria. Located close to the city center as well as close to the famous amusement park Prater, this international trade and exhibition center has its origins in 1873, when the 5th World Expo in Vienna (the first in the German speaking area), spread over 250 hectare. The foundation of the Exhibition & Congress destination Vienna was laid. The first Vienna Fair took place in 1921, using the area of the World Expo. Renovated in 2001, the VIECON now offers a Congress Center with 7,000 square meters. In addition, the adjoining Exhibition Center features 55,000 gross square meters of space.

We strongly recommend that you join both IEEE and RAS before registering for the conference to benefit from the reduced conference registration fee for IEEE and IEEE RAS members.
ACCOMMODATION
The 2026 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) has partnered exclusively with AIM Austria GmbH to coordinate the official hotel program. You will find convenient located hotels, most of them either within walking distance of the congress center or easy to reach via the outstanding public transport system of Vienna!
TRAVEL SUPPORT
The Travel Support program as part of the RAS Member Support program will provide additional funding to selected RAS student members to make housing during ICRA more affordable. More information coming soon.
VISA INVITATION LETTER
Official letters of invitation for visa applications will be available to REGISTERED and PAID participants only. These letters do not and cannot commit the Organizing Committee to any financial obligation. Upon successful completion of your online registration and after having made full payment you will be able to download your visa letter.
Registration will open in late January / early February (still to be confirmed).
