Description:
In today’s rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape, AI-powered robotics has emerged as a strategic priority for governments, industries and societies worldwide. Robotics is no longer viewed solely as a field of scientific and technological progress; it is now a driver to economic competitiveness, industrial sovereignty and societal transformation.
Under ICRA 2026’s central theme “Robots for All”, this panel will provide a unique global perspective on how robotics is being shaped, and is shaping, the world across three major innovation ecosystems: Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Each region has developed distinct approaches, priorities, and visions, influenced by its economic structure, political context, cultural values, and societal expectations. At the same time, robotics remains a deeply international scientific field.
By exploring specificities, convergences between these ecosystems, the panel will highlight the respective strengths, challenges and strategic priorities and will contribute to mutual understanding and inspiring future collaborations that will help to foster dialogue across continents and shape the future of robotics in the 21st century.
